He has more than 39 years of experience in the field of strategic investment consulting and performance measurement, making him one of the most experienced professionals in the consulting industry. Russ began his investment consulting career at Merrill Lynch after earning a Master of Science degree from Oregon State University.

Russ founded RVK in 1985 and continues to serve as a Senior Consultant, having long-term continuing oversight relationships with the firm's major public, corporate, endowment/foundation and Taft-Hartley clients.
